(2021-current)  Senior Product Designer  – Amazon

Led the design of the Tech app, a unique product that afforded Amazon the opportunity to become a key player in the competitive inventory replenishment services industry. It was estimated that this product would reduce Amazon’s annual overhead costs by over $17 million within the first year. The Tech app helped Amazon solidify their presence quickly; allowing them to increase their hiring and onboarding time for technicians by 50%. In addition, the Tech app mitigated a number of pre-existing manual processes with the introduction of seamlessly automated work flows that reduced time to task and that could be custom curated at scale to meet the changing needs of the end customers. In addition to the Tech app, I designed and launched a number of Amazon seller based tools that were used to help the sellers grow their online presence

(2020-2021)  Sr. UX Designer  – PepsiCo

Responsible for leading the design for two major consumer facing product driven websites including Flavor Dropshop and Snacks.com. Consulted the team on implementing better work efficiencies such as the creation of a universal design system that can be leveraged by multiple different internal partners.

(2019-2020)  UI/UX Designer  – Elevate Credit

Responsible for creating a digital design system used for Elevate’s core product lines; Today Card and Rise. Designed a more intuitive solution for customers to make online credit card payments affording them multiple different payment options reducing the amount payment delinquencies. Streamlined the online loan prequalification application reducing the process from 4 steps to one single step. This not only saved the applicants time (reduced from 22 minutes down to 7 minutes) but it also reduced the overall bounce rate by 35%.

(2019)  Sr. UI/UX Designer  – 7 Eleven 

Primary UX designer responsible for redesigning the 7 Eleven website. Created a complete site map identifying all potential problem areas. Worked closely with UX researcher to gather feedback on the existing web experience and helped conduct A/B testing for newly designed flows. Created more robust brand recognition and awareness through more cohesive design layouts and messaging.

(2018-2019)  UI/UX Designer – Citi

Accomplished UX designer who curated simple and effective on-brand financially related digital solutions. Led digital experiences across all platforms including web, iOS and Android. Collaborated with creative directors, UX architects and researchers to solve complex problems and deliver the most impactful user experiences. Interfaced with developers in an agile environment overseeing the creative direction and on-time release of products. Formulated a business case for executed creative ensuring each solution coincides with the stakeholders overarching goals. Daily responsibilities included: UI design deliverables, UI trend research, whiteboarding and design thinking.

(2014-2017)  Senior Digital Designer – Ivie & Associates

Lead designer responsible for conceptualizing and implementing creative solutions to help drive brand awareness through successful marketing strategies. Worked with Digital UI/UX Art Director to establish clear and concise project scopes and expectations. Developed creative design solutions that are both impactful and relative to current design trends.

(2009-Current)  UI/UX Designer/Graphic Designer – Freelance

Create clean engaging user centric design solutions for both web and mobile formats. Organize kick-off meetings to review business requirements with clients. Create user personas based upon in-depth research relating to assigned task. Utilize the “design thinking” approach to tackling some of the greatest user interface related problems. Develop end-to-end strategies from initial concept to final mock-ups for assigned project collaborating with clients and soliciting feedback throughout the process. Other design work has included: brand identity/logo design, educational and informative related marketing materials, digital design, and other forms of consumer facing creative. Corporate freelance clients include work for Coca Cola, Walmart, Sally Beauty, Michaels, DTZ and Visajump.

(2010-2014)  Lead Marketing Specialist – Nationwide Mutual Insurance 

Single point of contact for the strategic planning, development, and execution of customized marketing campaigns and collateral used as sales tools for Nationwide agents throughout the country. Collaborated with sales agents, sales managers, regional leadership, and key marketing personnel throughout all phases of marketing campaign development including: materials creation, production, and execution of print media, social media, digital campaigns, and direct mail campaigns and initiatives. Played a pivotal role in establishing and implementing policies and methodologies to achieve stated goals, as well as overseen and approved all aspects of established marketing campaigns. Other responsibilities included: tracking and measuring campaign results and ROI, facilitated education forums through regional sales conferences and corporate sponsored events, and managing marketing program timelines and budgets.
